Created by one of golf's master designers, Donald Ross, Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club offers you all the features of a championship course with a little Southern charm mixed in. Whether you are staying at this North Carolina golf club or simply playing on the magnificent course you will be treated like royalty. As soon as you tee-off from the first hole, you will be among legends. Over the years Mid Pines has played host to both the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship & the 2002 USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship.

In addition to being the venue for such prestigious events in golf, Mid Pines has won its share of awards. In fact, this year this course was awarded 4 stars by Golf Digest and was named number four in America's Best State-by-State Public Access Courses by Golf Week. However, don't be intimidated by this world class course, at the heart Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club is a hospitable Southern golf course that is suitable to golfers of all abilities. Tradition is a valued trait at Mid Pines. So valued that its 18 holes are in the same positions with the same numbers as when the course was opened in 1921. This doesn't mean the course is neglected though. The entire course was renovated in the 1990's so that it has all the class and charm it did in 1921. What the renovations did not touch was the course's hilly terrain and natural hazards. The following video gives you some insight into these 2 rated courses.
